Planned and developed publicity campaigns for organizational and community events. Conducted speech writing research, wrote speeches for the Commanding General. Wrote news releases and feature articles under deadline for publication in the "Sintinel" newspaper, took photographs and wrote cut lines.
Accomplishment: Letters Of Appreciation from Command General and dignitaries. Promotion to Public Affairs Officer.

Provided various complex and confidential projects for the Mayor and First Mayor Pro-Tem Arthur J. McClung (his wife was my 7th Grade Teacher).

Accomplishment: Maintained good public relations through regular contact with government officials, foreign dignitaries, the public and various City staff. Used discretion, initiative and independent judgment, as my actions could have had a significant effect upon City operations and public relations activities.
